About the Journal
The Pharmacy Education portfolio of IPSF lays a strong foundation for scientific research by fostering critical thinking and nurturing curiosity among pharmacy students. In this context, access to publication platforms plays a vital role in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional contribution. Beyond simply offering a space to share research findings, such platforms serve as valuable learning environments where students and recent graduates can develop their skills in scientific communication and gain insight into the peer-reviewed publishing process.
Recognizing the challenges students often face when attempting to publish on international platforms, IPSF is introducing the IPSF Journal (IPSFJ) as an accessible and supportive entry point into academic publishing. The IPSF Journal aims to provide a structured yet approachable environment where pharmacy students and recent graduates can not only publish their work, but also understand the full publication process from manuscript preparation to peer review and editorial decision-making.
By combining academic rigor with a strong educational component, IPSFJ seeks to empower students to take their first steps in research dissemination with confidence, while building the skills necessary to contribute to the wider scientific community.
The aims and scope of our journal are as follows:
- The IPSFJ serves as a platform for pharmacy students to publish scientific research while actively engaging in the editorial and peer-review process. It welcomes submissions from authors at all levels and is committed to maintaining high standards to ensure the quality and relevance of published work.
- Created by and for pharmacy students, IPSFJ offers a unique opportunity for IPSF members to contribute to the scientific community in various roles, including authors, editors, and reviewers. To further support this journey, workshops and mentorship initiatives will be organized to help students build their competencies in research and scientific publishing.
- The IPSF Journal is dedicated to publishing scientifically relevant work aligned with current trends and challenges in pharmacy education, while fostering a supportive and educational environment for the next generation of researchers.
